I think that in this day in age our generation doesn't really understand what multitasking is. Everyone's perspective on multitasking is different. My opinion is I don't believe people can fully multitask. For example, some students say they can do homework and be on their phone at the same time, but really you can't type out a tweet and type a paper both at the same time.
After the discussion my thoughts have changed a little bit. Once we did the activity with writing a sentence and numbers at the same time it proved that people can't really multitask. I agree that it's more of a switching back and forth between tasks rather than doing them at the same time.
