My Online Identity

I don't really have any red flags on any of my accounts. There may be slight profanity here and there, but never very often. So I should start paying attention to that and replacing those words with different ones. I don't post anything inappropriate, so I'm not worried if people view it. I have a lot of family on Facebook and my little brother has Instagram. I try to post things that I'd be fine with all of them seeing.

I don't think all those consequences were fair. I don't think the women who was drinking when she was legal age should've not been able to get her teaching degree. But, when it comes to future employers not hiring you because of something online I can understand that because what you say online is probably one of their first impressions of you. If there is something bad, they're going to eliminate you from the potential group of people they'd hire.

I think most people are "themselves" online. We say things online the way we'd say it to our friends. People tend to be more confident online, but I think we still act like ourselves for the most part.
